Every move checked

Each step changes exactly one letter and uses a word from the verified Poople list.

A shorter path.
The same rules.

The solver searches the word list used by the official game, rather than a general English dictionary. It finds the fewest one-letter moves from your word to POOP, with more common words preferred among equally short routes.

For example, BOOT → BOOP → POOP takes just two moves. CARB takes five: CARB → CARP → CAMP → COMP → COOP → POOP. Other equally short routes may exist.

A few good questions

How do I get today’s Poople answer?

Open the official Poople game, then enter its starting word above. Choose “Find shortest path” for the full answer or “Just a hint” for one step at a time. This page does not automatically fetch today’s puzzle.

Is this really the shortest solution?

Yes, for the verified word-list snapshot. The solver uses breadth-first search to establish the minimum number of moves. Every displayed alternative has that same minimum length; common-word preferences never add extra moves.

Why won’t it accept my word?

Poople uses its own word list. A real English word may still be absent from the game. Check that you entered exactly four letters. If the official game accepts a word that this solver rejects, the official list may have changed since our verification date.

What do the tile colors mean?

Brown tiles match the letter in the same position in POOP, just like the game. A blue outline and dot mark the letter changed on this move. The letter change is also written beside each row.

Can I see other shortest routes?

Yes. Use the route selector above the ladder. We count all shortest routes and display up to 20, with a recommended route first. Switching routes in hint mode hides the next steps again.

Is this the official Poople solver?

No. This is an independent TileHive tool. Poople and its game icon belong to their creator. Calculations run in your browser and do not change your official game, streak or statistics.
