MAKE YOUR NEXT MOVE COUNT

A better route to FEET

Feetle is a route-finding puzzle, rather than a hidden-word guessing game. You already know the destination. The challenge is connecting today’s starting word to it through valid intermediate words.

Think about the word before FEET

FEED is one accepted neighbour of FEET. If you can reach FEED, you only need one more change. Looking backwards from the target can reveal a bridge that is hard to see from the starting word.

A yellow tile is a match, not a lock

The official board highlights letters that match FEET in the same position. You can still change those letters on a later move. Always choosing a word with more matches can lead to a dead end; sometimes the useful move looks like a step away.

Count changes, not rows

SEED → FEED → FEET contains three words but takes two moves. On the results screen, extra steps measure how many moves you used beyond the shortest route. A different valid route can be just as short as the one shown in the archive.

Feetle vs Poople

Feetle’s official About page credits Poople as its inspiration. Both use one-letter word ladders, but their targets differ: FEET here, POOP in Poople. Their accepted words and shortest routes should be checked separately. Our Poople Solver is specifically for reaching POOP.

Feetle FAQ

What is the Feetle word game?

Feetle is a daily four-letter word ladder. Begin with the supplied word, change exactly one letter per move and reach FEET using as few moves as possible. Every intermediate word must be accepted by the official game.

When does Feetle reset?

The official game resets at 08:00 UTC each day, which is 16:00 in Beijing. Your local reset time depends on your time zone. The countdown inside the official game shows how long remains.

Where are today’s Feetle hints and answer?

Use the official archive at feetle.fun/answer. Today’s page offers hints; its full answer is published when the next puzzle starts at 08:00 UTC. Past puzzles have hidden shortest routes you can reveal. The teaching example on this page is not today’s answer.

Why does Feetle reject my word?

Enter exactly four letters, change exactly one position from the previous accepted word and use a word in Feetle’s own word list. A word appearing in a general dictionary does not guarantee that this game accepts it.

Do yellow letters have to stay fixed?

No. A yellow tile marks a letter that currently matches FEET in that position. The game checks each move against the previous word; it does not lock matching letters. A useful detour may temporarily change a matching letter.

Is Feetle the same as Poople or the League of Legends game?

This listing is for the word ladder at feetle.fun, whose target is FEET. Its official About page credits Poople as inspiration; Poople targets POOP. The similarly named League of Legends guessing game is a different game.

What if the game is blank or my streak is missing?
