Start at the blue source.
From the center, count outward and check each adjacent opening. A matching opening is useful only if the path reaches back to this source.
Check the source before blaming a tile.
The center can rotate. If several nearby paths fail, reconsider the source’s orientation before tapping more pieces.
Tested desktop behavior: tapping the top-left tile changed its opening from up to right and increased Moves from 0 to 1. That confirms clockwise rotation; it does not prove a best opening move.

Useful habits
- Peripheral, not all at once. Confirm a small powered section beside the source, then extend outward.
- Lock after checking. Protect a rotated tile before working on its neighbors.
- Treat Moves as evidence. The game counts taps, and a best score earns a gold star. Fewer accidental rotations leave a cleaner run.
- Use the official board. The daily layout changes; a route from another date is not today’s answer.

How do you rotate a pipe in Daily Pipes?
Tap a tile to turn it clockwise. The central power source can rotate too, so include it when checking the board.
Can I lock a pipe tile?
Yes. Press and hold a tile to lock it, then press and hold it again to unlock it. Locking is optional and helps prevent accidental taps.
What is the goal of Daily Pipes?
Connect every tile to the power source in the center of the 5×5 board.
Is there a new Daily Pipes puzzle every day?
The official instructions say a new puzzle arrives every day. TileHive has not independently confirmed the exact reset time.
Does Daily Pipes have a shortest-move challenge?
The official instructions say every solution earns a checkmark and a fewest-move solution earns a gold star. We do not claim an optimal move count for a particular board.
